has anyone tried echinacea for colds and flu, and how did it make you feel?
hi my boyfriend has been so run down lately as has been busy and working too hard. anyway, he developed cold sysmtoms last week and he is still suffering this week, i know its cos he is so rundown he isnt getting much sleep due to his job (he is on call out through the night and then works in the day).
iv got him some echinacea as i heard it helps you immune system when you have a cold/flu, wondered if anyone has tried it and noticed any benifits?

You're basically supposed to take it BEFORE the onset of a cold/flu. It's more prevention than a cure. I couldn't hurt though!

I've tried it, but without any effect.

Echinacea comes from a flowering plant of the daisy family. it has been studied and used for years for its fighting against getting a cold. it can be considered an herbal medicine. different species of it and the different "organs" and preparations make for all the different chemical compositions. this makes it hard to do any "well controlled trials" of the product. we offer products that are considered alternative remedies, natural supplements, products that are made with the highest quality, purity, freshness, and potency. We make natural products that you can trust based on extensive research and applied technology. Everything we use is safe, healthy and organic visit our site. www.natureswisdoms.com
