Will Dayquil Cold & Flu medicine cancel out my birth control?
The right side of my throat is sore, my right ear itches down in it and my nose is stuffy and runny. If this medicine cancels out my birth control, what can I take to help me feel better but still keep my birth control in play?

Yes, you will be perfectly fine taking cold medication if you are on the Pill. There are very few medications that interact with the Pill.
For more information on the type of birth control pill you're taking (medicine side-affects, etc.) just type in the name of it on any search engine and you will be able to read up on it.

that should be fine, you might be better off just taking tylenol or motrin, along with some sudafed for those symptoms. If you dont have a cough you would be taking medicine you dont need if you take dayquil, plus sudafed works better than the sudafed PE in dayquil

The only thing my doctor told me interacted with birth control is certain types of antibiotics so you will be fine.
