Recurring respiratory infections!?
During the past 8 or 9 months, I have been getting many respiratory infections. The thing that puzzles me is they are never the same. Since September, I have gone from having the flu, to a regular cold, to strep throat, to another cold, to some bacterial infection (they said something like bronchitis) to, once again now, some type of cold. This has worried me because there have been so many illnesses and they come one right after another. Any thoughts?

Erin, have you spoken to your doctor about this? I imagine you haven't or you wouldn't be asking here.
I know nothing of your medical history so your doctor is the only one that should comment on this. Repeated infections like that, both bacterial and viral, could be coincidence but it's just unlikely.
God bless.

There are several standards you can adopt to help your self into overcoming this situation. Make sure you are getting enough rest and eating well. Do not share drinks or food, if one of your friends has a virus or some sort of infection this is a good way of catching something. Wash your hands often, especially when you are in public. You will be surprised how many people do not wash their hands when they finish using a public restroom. Never touch your face with your hands without them being clean. You can easily contaminate your eyes or nostrils with bacteria or a virus when you do this. Drink plenty of fluids, especially water. Your immune systems is rather low due to the continuous infections you have had. Establish a standard of getting rest, good food and you will allow your body to restore it's natural immune system.

You are obviously suffering from some kind of stress. Now, there may be medications that will clear up the symptoms, but they will not get down to the root cause of your problem. I suggest that you try EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). You can pick up a free starter pack from Gary Craig's site, which will show you how to get started, then read the newsletters to gain more insight into the technique.
I tried it just for a laugh, but now I swear by it, having cured a friend's chronic earache; my wife's morning headaches; an infected injury of one of our dogs' eyes; sinusitis; a friend's lack of self-esteem ... the practitioners suggest that you "Try it on Everything" and it seems that it works in the most impossible areas. Some people have even cured diabetes using it!
