When the swine flu vaccine is available, will you be taking your child(ren) to get one?
I hate that my 5 yr. old just got 5 shots for Kindergarten, and we both thought she'd be done for awhile, but I also want to protect her. Are you going to heed the advice about getting your child(ren) the swine flu shot, or just pass it off? I just don't know if I should leave well enough alone, or go for it...

if my wife says so.

We're keeping our youngest out of preschool until January (sounds extreme and I'm really not manic about swine flu) but he has respiratory issues and flu can be deadly for kids with asthma so we'll see. I'd like for it to be out there and in circulation for awhile before we make that decision.

That all depends in the country you live in, people need to recognize that the swine flu isnt worth the trouble of shots yet, if there is going to be a vaccine developed it will take a while. At this I think you should just pass it off but if 1 is developed it will be a while before it will be available and i do think that people that have visited mexico should be a bit concerned but i think you should just act cautiously.

No, I won't be getting it for any of them. I just don't think it's necessary. They don't get the regular flu shot either.
